61% of cyberstalking victims gk no support

Nearly two-thirds (61 percent)
of cyberstalking victims claim
they received no support
from either the authorities or
the social networks on which
they were harassed. Half
the respondents in a study
conducted by the National
Centre for Cyberstalking
Research at the University of
Bedfordshire said they were
harassed by an individual who
they could not identify or a
complete stranger.
